Artist Todd Carter (TC)
creates acrylic paintings and electronic media. Todd created the
story and produced the artwork for A Monarch Universe
Picture Book.
A Monarch Universe
is a picture book about a bright Monarch butterfly dreaming
about the Monarch life cycle and her universal connections.
Todd created A Monarch Universe out of his love for nature
combined with his love for painting. |

Todd's 1st and 2nd place
prize paintings of reggae musicians Bob Marley and Peter Tosh in the
All Michigan Exhibit, juried by Tara Robinson of the Detroit
Institute of Arts, appeared at the WLUC-TV6 Gallery in December 1988.
Todd was an organizing
volunteer of the Oasis Gallery 1987-1989.

Todd's wife,
Michaeleen, wrote the text for A Monarch Universe. Todd and Michaeleen live in Marquette County, Upper Peninsula,
Michigan, their home of 30+ years.
Todd owns
Career Academy of Marquette,
a classroom-style state-licensed school delivering computer
and health information technology
certificate programs.
Michaeleen owns
Central Business School, a
correspondence
state-licensed school delivering health information technology certificate
