Career Academy Of Marquette POLICIES
CALENDAR: School will be closed on all official state and federal holidays.
ENROLLMENT: Certificate programs and courses are offered continuously. Students may enroll at any time.
ABSENCES, LEAVES, AND TARDINESS: Students are expected to attend classes as scheduled. Excused absences will have to be approved by the director. Three absences bay be grounds of dismissal. No partial refund will be granted.
RULES OF CONDUCT: All students are expected to conduct themselves in an adult manner. Students may be dismissed for violation of these rules. Grades will be evaluated on the attitude and conduct by the student.
RE-ADMISSION STATEMENT: Students that cannot continue their course or program will put in writing their reason why they cannot continue. Student may be reinstated under certain circumstances.
CAREER PLANNING AND PLACEMENT ASSISTANCE: No placement services are provided; however, assistance with the job-seeking process is free to the program graduate when requested. Career Academy instructors have among their responsibilities the objective of assisting students with their efforts to find employment. Central instructors have a sincere desire to provide students with productive career campaigns and successful job placements; however, job placement cannot be guaranteed. The final responsibility for initiating a job search and acquiring a job remains with the career program graduate.
CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION: A certificate of completion and transcript will be awarded to all students successfully completing a certificate program or course.
PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES: Students will demonstrate an overall understanding of the course or certificate program or by scoring 70% or better on practice exercises, quizzes, and tests.
GRADING CRITERIA: Student must achieve 70% overall to successfully complete any Career Academy certificate program or course.
